He's rather pale and cool to the touch. He has vibrant green eyes that are hidden behind glasses and dark ebony bangs. Vincent also has a healthy stubble growing on his chin, and is almost always seen wearing turtlenecks and slacks, and he often upholds his honor as a teacher and wears robes. Vincent also doesn't like waking up early. He's not much of a morning person, seeing as he's AB blood type (or at least he assumes he is.) And when he does wake up he sits in bed for a good fifteen minutes to ensure his ability to get through the day.

At first glance you might label Vincent as a snobby little rich kid with no care at all in the world. However, this is not the case for the Irish man. Vincent is brash, sarcastic, straightforward, intellectual and honest.

He also despises people who label others. Because of his parents, the kids at his school have labeled him into the “rich” crowd. However, he despises said crowd. He thinks that people should earn their money rather then have it handed to them. He respects those who work hard for five or six days. He despises those who spend their money carelessly over stupid things that end up breaking within a month. He also hates racial slurs and superiority over different blood statuses.

Vincent isn’t much of a morning person; he despises waking up earlier and would rather sleep until eleven. Because of his dislike for waking up early, Vincent never pays attention in his morning classes. One should never attempt to wake Vincent up, and if you manage to do so then prepare to have a cup of tea ready for him. Having grown up so close to England, Vincent fancies tea over coffee (he finds the drink foul and bitter). Having an AB blood type doesn't exactly help Vincent's cause as he's mostly crabby in the mornings.

Vincent is very emotional; it’s fairly obvious to tell when he’s upset (even though he tries to hide it) he’ll most likely head off somewhere and bury himself in a book. When he’s angry he’ll confront you and most likely tell you what it is he doesn’t like. And when he’s happy you’ll normally see a small smirk on his face.

When it comes to love and romance, Vincent is, as the phrase states, very blind and oblivious. Vincent is also a natural flirt. He often times flirts without even knowing it.

Vincent was born in Ireland, as his last name is of Irish decent, he grew up in a pure blood family. He is the third oldest out of six children of mostly boys (about four brothers, including himself, and two sisters).

He grew up hearing stories of Hogwarts from his three older brothers. He had a very normal childhood. He played for the first ten years of his life with his younger siblings, because his parents didn't want him or their children being tainted by muggle beliefs. His parents were excited when he got his letter to Hogwarts. He had a normal two years in Slytherin house, as expected by his parents. But by the time of his third year, Vincent had developed a crush on a muggle born girl in the house of Gryffindor. He kept it secret from his two older brothers, as well as the rest of the school and kept a nice and secret relationship with her.

During his fourth year there, he quaked under the pressure of his eldest brother, he told him of his secret relationship with the muggle born during winter break. And his brother, being obligated, told their father. His father then later beat the shit out of him for dating "such filth." As soon as he got back from holiday, he ended his relationship.

During his fifth and final years was when he developed his sarcastic side. The side most of his students know now and love. A few years after he started teaching Vincent began smoking. It was probably done to calm his nerves. And now he's a regular smoker. He only blows through packs a day when it's winter time.

Vincent met Aurel Daciana during his fourth year at Hogwarts. Vincent was minding his own business, reading the prophet and drinking his morning cup of tea, a little morning ritual he upholds at times. A fifth year Slytherin was causing havoc and tantalizing a young Ravenclaw third year. Curses and hexes were thrown at each other and the one the Ravenclaw threw missed and accidentally hit Vincent's cup. Causing the hot liquid to drop over his crotch. Vincent automatically threw a curse back at the unsuspecting Ravenclaw.

Later on, their odd rivalry grew into a quick friendship. Aurel had managed to drag Vincent out of his depression during his fifth year at Hogwarts. (In some sense Aurel sort of made Vincent who he is today.) One day during Vincent's fifth year he, Aurel and Alice made a trip to the Three Broomsticks. Aurel, on a spur of the moment, kissed Vincent. Later on (at the Astronomy tower) Vincent questioned Aurel's spur of the moment kiss--and was kissed once more to shut up. Thus beginning their secret relationship for three and a half years. Vincent cut it off before he left Hogwarts so he wouldn't ruin the actual friendship the two had.

Vincent has returned as the Charms teacher, filling in for Flitwick. (Who was off with Binns on an adventure.) His past summer was spent under tremendous criticism by his parents and siblings for taking a job at Hogwarts. He returns this year simply because he has an odd feeling about the year ahead.
